Job search networking

Build a network inside the companies you want to work at

Data Reaktor is a job search desk for experienced professionals. Name the companies you want; it finds the people inside from public sources, shows which of them you can reach through someone you know, and drafts a short note in your voice. You send it yourself, and it tracks your follow-ups.

How it works

  1. Name the companies you want. Type a company, a few companies, or paste a job link you found. Not sure where to start? Data Reaktor suggests companies that are hiring for the role you want.
  2. See the people inside. Up to five people per company from public sources (team pages, job postings, press, talks, GitHub, papers), each with the link it came from.
  3. See who can get you in. Each person gets a warm-path score from 0 to 100: someone you know, a former colleague, a fellow alum, a mutual connection, or a cold path. Import your LinkedIn Connections.csv and your résumé to find the warm ones.
  4. Send a short, specific note. Data Reaktor drafts a LinkedIn connect note, a LinkedIn message and an email in your voice. You edit it and send it yourself.
  5. Follow up on time. Mark a note sent and it goes on your follow-up list for about five business days later. Turn on reminder emails if you want a nudge.

Why a network beats another application

Many roles are filled by someone a person inside already knows. A short note to the right person, with a specific reason to write, starts a conversation that an application form does not.

Data Reaktor is built for that first conversation: the right person, a reason that is true, and a note that asks one question instead of asking for a job.

Who it is for

Experienced professionals between roles or looking for their next one, often after a layoff, with a short list of companies (or none yet) and a network that has gone quiet.

What Data Reaktor never does

  • It never sends a message for you. You copy the note and send it from your own LinkedIn or email.
  • It never logs into LinkedIn or fetches LinkedIn pages. People come from public pages and search results, each with a link to the source.
  • It never guesses email addresses. An email is shown only when a public page prints it.

Questions people ask

How do I network into a company where I don't know anyone?

Start with the people closest to the work you want: the likely hiring manager, a peer on that team, or someone one level up. Data Reaktor finds them from public sources, checks your connections export and résumé for a shared employer, school or contact, and drafts a short note with one specific reason to write.

Is there a tool that finds people at a company for my job search?

Yes. Data Reaktor finds up to five people per company you name, each with the public page they came from, scores how warm your path to each one is, and drafts the note you send yourself.

Does Data Reaktor message people for me?

No. It never sends anything. You copy the note and send it from your own LinkedIn or email, then mark it sent so it can remind you to follow up.

How much does it cost?
