Find the hiring manager and the right people at a company

Paste a job link or name a company, and Data Reaktor finds up to five people there from public sources (team pages, job postings, press, talks, GitHub, papers): the likely hiring manager, people on the team, and recruiters. Each comes with the link it was found on, a warm-path score and a draft note you send yourself.

How it works

  1. Name a company or paste a job link. A Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday or careers-page link becomes its company, and the board offers a note about that opening once it is in the company's public listings.
  2. See the people inside. Up to five people per company from public sources (team pages, job postings, press, talks, GitHub, papers), each with the link it came from.
  3. See who can get you in. Each person gets a warm-path score from 0 to 100: someone you know, a former colleague, a fellow alum, a mutual connection, or a cold path. Import your LinkedIn Connections.csv and your résumé to find the warm ones.
  4. Send a short, specific note. Data Reaktor drafts a LinkedIn connect note, a LinkedIn message and an email in your voice. You edit it and send it yourself.

Every person has a source

Next to each person is the page they were found on, so you can check that they still work there and what they work on. People can ask to be left out at any time on the remove-me page, and they are.

What Data Reaktor never does

  • It never sends a message for you. You copy the note and send it from your own LinkedIn or email.
  • It never logs into LinkedIn or fetches LinkedIn pages. People come from public pages and search results, each with a link to the source.
  • It never guesses email addresses. An email is shown only when a public page prints it.

Questions people ask

How do I find the hiring manager for a job?

Look for the person who leads the team the role sits in, usually one or two levels above it. Data Reaktor finds the likely hiring manager from public sources, marks them, and drafts a short note you send yourself.

Can it find email addresses?

Only when a public page prints one. It never guesses. Otherwise it gives you a LinkedIn people search to open yourself.

Does it work from a LinkedIn job link?

LinkedIn and Indeed job links do not say which company posted them, so type the company name instead. Links from company job boards (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday and careers pages) work.
